SEMA Autograph Signing

September 5, 2014

September 5, 2014 – Woodland Hills, Calif. – Formula DRIFT pro drivers, Daigo Saito and Robbie Nishida, will be signing autographs in the Achilles Radial booth (South Hall – Booth #41329) at the 2014 SEMA Show Wednesday, November 5th and Thursday, November 6th from 2pm – 3pm.

Daigo Saito is considered to be the world's best drifter by many. If it wasn't for a chance encounter with a late night drift meeting, Saito may have never been introduced to the world of drifting. From that moment on he was determined to become a drifter himself and set out to become the best at it. Determination and perseverance define Daigo as a driver. He has been relentless in his pursuit of the championship title at various competitions around the world. His signature fast entry speeds and tremendous amounts of angle makes him a crowd and judge favorite. Daigo has won the Japanese D1 Grand Prix, Formula Drift Asia Championship, and in 2012, his first US Formula Drift Championship. He's the first driver to ever win both the Japanese D1 Grand Prix and US Formula Drift Championships.

Robbie Nishida is a driver's driver because of his hard-charging, leave it all on the track style. A car guy since birth, Robbie's introduction to the sport happened by accident when he ran into cars drifting in the mountains of Japan. From that moment on he was hooked, and began building his first drift car a super old school MZ10 Toyota Soarer. He received his pro license in the US in 2005 and hasn't looked back. Robbie competes in Formula Drift USA, Formula Drift Asia, and D1 Grand Prix. Robbie achieved his highest finish in Formula Drift Asia with 4th place in 2012, and was awarded the Most Improved Driver in Formula Drift USA.
